In the past I’ve used quite a few non-toxic solvent-based nail polishes, but now I’m about to try nail polishes of a different kind ‘The Water Based Ones’.’

I’m back!
It’s been a bit of a while but I’m back. Happy new year! I know I’m about six weeks late but nevermind.
Can I say that I am absolutely in love with Matcha Tea at the moment, and have been for the past year and a half! For those of you who dont know what Matcha Tea is, I’ll give a very brief description:
Matcha Tea is ground up green tea leaves. The powder is a very fine green powder that is then whisked in water and/or milk to make a cup of tea.The health benefits of matcha tea exceed those of ordinary green tea, because when you drink matcha tea you ingest the whole leaf, not just the brewed water. One glass of matcha is extremely high in antioxidants (in particular Catechins) and chlorophyll.
The reason why I call it ‘The Green Buzz’ is because one cup of Matcha Tea gives you a nice gently prolonged buzz, that’s unlike drinking any other caffeinated drink and of course because the tea is green. Give it a try. I buy my tea from a company called Ocha Tea http://www.ocha-tea.co.uk/greenTea.asp. This company has a wide range of Green Tea and other Japanese Teas and their customer service is great!

It’s summer time so why not hyper- colourise (is that a word? lol) your accessories.
On one of my web surfing expeditions, I came across a brazillian company that designs the most beautiful and colourful resin jewellery I’ve seen. Each piece of jewellery is handmade and each piece is unique.
The company is called Jackie Brazil. Have a look at their web site for more lovely pieces to complement your summer wardrobe.

I know you’re all wondering what on earth is Lawsonia Inermis? Well it’s the Latin name for good old Henna.
The use of Henna is nothing new in the beauty industry. In fact it has been used for hundreds of years both as a base in make-up pigment and in hair colouring. I recently came across a brand of semi-permanent lip liners/lip colours made from henna and I must say I quite like them.
The ingredients are all 100% natural so that’s another bonus. The pens have two tips; a finer one to line the lips and a larger one to fill in the lips.
Henna Pens also do a Henna Eyebrow pen. Visit www.hennapens.com or nonstopbazaar.com for more info.
