Air Vitamins!

by JJ on December 30, 2009

If you want a natural way to freshen, clean and release negative ions (aka “Air Vitamins”) into your air- then I would suggest getting one of these- An Aroma Diffuser/Ioniser

Negative ions released by this Diffuser/ Ioniser combat harmful positive ions. The released air vitamins are believed to help improve your respiratory system and immune system.

Simply put water and an essential oil of your choice into the base and turn it on.

Ultrasonics  vapourise the water and the essential oil (without the need for heat) resulting in a room filled with a wonderful aroma and “air vitamins”

I recently bought mine from www.youraromatherapy.co.uk

Cute Knits

by JJ on December 18, 2009

I have to talk about my favourite yarn at the moment and that’s Alpaca wool.

And then I have to mention my favourite website that sells Alpaca wool clothes and that’s Peruvian Knitwear.

For Christmas I bought my niece a lovely dress from their website. All I can say is that it’s  soo cute and very soft, hence the title of this blog ‘Cute Knits’.  If you’re looking for handmade adorable Alpaca wool baby clothes then your first stop is Peruvian Knit Wear.

Kidorable Lotus Childrens UmbrellaRain and more rain and now the snow it seems that wellies are the ideal footwear at the moment!

I came a cross a brilliant site that sells funky styled wellies and raincoats for children.
The site is called Wellies and Worms and they stock a number of brands of wellies, umbrellas and raincoats to keep your little one nice and dry, and looking very funky!

My favourite brand on their website is an American brand called kidorable. Take a look at their web site before we enter the dry Season! (oops wrong country)!

Cooking with Clay

December 2, 2009

No it’s not the new fad diet and I’m not suggesting that you start eating clay.
What I am actually talking about are a range of lovely Columbian Organic Black Clay Pots and tableware called La Chamba.
The pots  are all hand made from clay mined in La Chamba, Columbia. The La Chamba range sold by La Chamba [...]
